The flower that identifies as a Bugs Bunny
It looks more like…well…err…what?
The highly talented, prolific blogger and good all-round egg, John – https://lvphotoblog.com – who lives in the desert in Nevada, will be sure to know what kind of cactus this is.
Spring seems to start a little later for us here in the north of Scotland. But Spring (thankfully) is nearly here…
Hands up all those who like Richard’s images!!!
…and with a dirty beak for some reason…
It looks like Spring is breaking out…
Just dropping in for breakfast…
More Photoshop neural filter skulduggery…
Always good to end the day on a dog!
Always good to end the day with a chicken…
‘Are you lookin’ at me?!’
More fun with the Photoshop Neural Filter…
Never a good idea to shoot with a fast shutter speed and high ISO setting on a dull day. Too much noise! De-noise tends to blur the image. Better to wait for the sun to shine!
We lost quite a few trees in the storm here in Aberdeenshire the other night…
It’s sometimes tough being a seal…
Katy sitting in the bushes and out of the wind this morning…
I’m not sure if this image works but an interesting output from Photoshop’s Neuralize (spelt with a ‘Z’!) filter. The original image is here.
Probably Neuralized if you are over there in the US! A spot of Photoshop skullduggery…
There’s nothing worse than a rusty ring…
There’s nothing worse than having rusty bollards…
This chicken seems to be waving at somebody…
Flaps up!!!
Fasten your seatbelts and tray in the upright position.
Chickens just love suet. Somehow they swallow these pellets in one go.
You just can’t have too many chickens in your day…
Another one of those chickens hopping about the woods this morning…
The orange paint on this tree means that this tree is scheduled for execution. This tree and trees like it are suffering from Dutch Elm Disease and are dying anyway. The good news is that the trees, once executed, are cut up and left on the ground to slowly rot away and, importantly, become home for all sorts of tiny creatures. We’re hoping that more trees will be planted to replaced the now condemned trees.
Couldn’t eat a whole one!
Little chicken, big beak!
These chaps have to get in there quickly before the crows come along…
A young child not keen to have her cholera shots!
The air temperature here in Banff (Aberdeenshire, Scotland) is 9C (48F) today. The water temperature is 4C (37F). They must be mad!
