The Silver Bird 1

Photographs, Video and Stuff
The view from the back seats in a Vulcan Bomber
Some kind of experimental plane I think…
In the back of an RAF Shackleton maritime reconnaissance aircraft (once secret, now in a museum)
Not sure but I think the brass pipes probably carry coolant to/from the engine…
The innards of an aircraft engine. Kind of like human innards. There’s something very artistic about engines. Where would we be without heat engines?
A shiny aircraft at the Shuttleworth Collection and, if you look closely, a bit of a self portrait (some fat old toothless geezer with a camera!)
I’m not sure what they call the bit in the middle of a propellor but here is one!
From a time when every flight was an adventure…
A seaplane!
They just don’t make aircraft like they used to…….
HDR effects applied using Aurora HDR Effects.
More fun with textures and Photoshop:
A Sea Harrier about to fly up your nose!
The Lysander. Used to drop secret agents behind enemy lines during WW2.
For anyone who likes this iconic aircraft:
My grandson has taken up photography…..here’s one of his aircraft images (chip of the old block!)
Some more images of aircraft that have been taken over the years (plus a bit of rock and roll):
Here’s some images of the RAF’s Vulcan Bomber (more images of the Vulcan coming shortly):
Here’s the aircraft and cars images in slideshow format
I took a great many photographs of aircraft some time ago. The slideshow below shows some of the images. Please stay tuned because the images will be back on sale again soon.
