The Suck, Squeeze, Bang and Blow…
Join me for my rather warped idea of what it would sound like if you were sitting in the middle of an internal combustion engine. Best with headphones on….
All done on my Machine Mikro.

The Bulbous Forefoot or, Bulbous Bow, greatly increases fuel efficiency and the fins help with stability. More about this technology (an American invention) here. The ‘snoot’ shown below belongs to a trawler but most ships are built with bulbous bows these days.

We live on a boat and people often ask us what happens to the human waste. Â Here’s the answer. The waste is sucked out of the boat’s holding tank and is taken away to be disposed of correctly (and legally). Â Devices such as these are known as [delightfully] ‘poo suckers.’ Â The poo sucking process is quick, easy and hygienic. The human waste in the holding tanks is often known as ‘black water’. Â Water from the shower and sinks is known as ‘grey water’.
