The Sunset

Photographs, Video and Stuff
Another image cruelly neutralised by the Photoshop Neural Filter
It’s a fabulous time to be in the north of Scotland. Because we are so far north, we don’t really get a night at this time of the year.
Here we are in Crete and due to being obliged to finish a bottle of wine, I missed the sunset and so this is an image of what was left of the sunset with camera handheld. Lucky to get an image at all!
The top images shows a Photoshop neuralised image of my previous post. I neuralised the sunset image using an image of some shells (see the image at the bottom of this post). Quite a nice effect.
A spot of Photoshop neural filter mischief…
…or the Blue Hour, whatever you wish it to be…
Underexposure at its worst….but I like it!!
This image taken way past midnight. Up here in the north of Scotland and, at this time of the year, the sun tries to stay with us for most of the day…
If you look carefully, you can see, on the horizon, the mountains on the other side of the Moray Firth – and the odd boat! Read about Portsoy here.
Here’s today’s last post. An image showing the sun setting over the MacDuff Harbour entrance. Another beautiful sunset.
Today’s last post!
The sun set over the Moray Firth a little while ago. Wonderful clear skies tonight.
Image inspired by John in Nevada who does interesting things with his images.
What happens when you get your camera settings wrong. It sometimes turns out okay….
Just caught the sun as it was going down…
