Photographs, Video and Stuff
Not sure why this duck appears to be so happy………after all, his lake has frozen over!
Small bits of ice cling to the reeds and turn into sparkling ice jewels.
A blue tit with a nest in a cigarette waste bin. A tit with a smoking habit!!!
No idea what these flowers are called but I’m sure the bees like them…
No idea what these flowers are called but found them growing in the forest…
For some reason this high-rise fungi was growing up the side of just one tree in the entire forest. I took the photograph yesterday, by this morning the fungi had all died back. Strange is the life of fungi.
I’ve been out and about today taking photographs of fungi at Hemmeland (not far from Amsterdam and a delightfully secret bit of the Netherlands)

Toadstools (or maybe mushrooms?) hiding under the leaves in Hemmeland, Netherlands
More fungi. No idea what type but pretty…
I keep finding these mushroomy things when we take the dog for a walk but have no idea what species of fungi they are, whether you can eat them, whether they are poisonous but, they make interesting photographic subjects…
Autumn is just around the corner….
I’m not sure what sort of toadstool this is or, indeed, if it is a toadstool but I saw it growing in Hemmeland, Netherlands, today.
I don’t know what this flower is called either. Please let me know here.
If I knew anything about flowers I’d know what the flowers below are really called. For now I know them as Wind Turbine flowers. Spotted in Hemmeland, Netherlands (one of Holland’s treasures). Anyone who knows what these flowers are really called, please let me know.
I have no idea what this flower is called and so I call it a Wind turbine Flower…
You know how it is when you reach the end of your ramp…..
