The leaf on the vine…

(or ‘Fall’ if you are in the USA)
Don’t you just wish the British Conservative Party would just shrivel up and disintegrate (and NEVER come back!)
Just when I thought fungus (fungi?) season was over…
When it comes down to it, we are all just leaves blowing in the wind…
I will resist making any kind of comparison with the British Conservative Party
What a bunch of pathetic lickspittles! All dried up and nowhere to go but OUT with the trash!
Somebody nibbled my leaf!
Dried out, devoid of life, about to drop off, shrivelled up and needs, for the good of the tree, to be dumped on the political compost heap as soon as possible.
…about the same intelligence level as Liz Truss (apologies to conkers everywhere)…
Its funny how bits shrivel up and drop off in later life!!
It would appear Percy Thrower is channeling through my videos…
Always good to turn one of these over…
More Photoshop Neural Filter sculduggery..(digital doodling).
We take them for granted but we’d be stuffed without them…
Join me for a walk in the woods close to Duff House in Banff, Aberdeenshire, Scotland.
It was the colour that caught my eye..
We’ve noticed quite a few trees up here in the Cairngorms that appear to be dying. Disease? Polution? We’re not sure but a pity to see trees dying off…
….it just turned out the way it did…
Image inspired by John in Nevada who does interesting things with his images.
They are here to get you! Be afraid!
The veins (?) in the leaf look like a city roadmap.
Sue tells me that, whilst the plant/weed shown in the first image below looks like a stinging nettle, it isn’t and you would not be stung if you touched it. I will not be testing this hypothesis. If it looks like a stinging nettle, then it will sting you. I apply the same logic to snakes. If it is a snake, it is poisonous!
For comparison purposes, the image at the bottom of this post is a stinging nettle.
I am sure somebody will know what kind of plant (weed?) this is. Spotted near Monnickendam (Netherlands) today. Almost like some kind of alien creature!
A slightly more fragrant post than the last one!

Moral: never take a dog with you when you are recording soundscapes!
Please click on the Soundcloud link below, close your eyes and join me for a walk in the woods at Hemmeland – a wooded area close to Monnickendam, Noord Holland, Netherlands.
Hemmeland is a great place to see nature, picnics, sunbathing and for dog walks. At Hemmeland you’ll find a mixture of wildlife, flowers, plants, trees, beaches and much more. Â There was a northeasterly wind today blowing at between 10-15 Knots. You’ll hear quite a lot of noise generated as the wind blew through the treetops. Â You’ll also hear the dog sniffing around.
There’s not too much about Hemmeland on the Internet but you can look at my photographs of Hemmeland by clicking on this link to visit my Adobe Spark Hemmeland page (scroll down when you get there)

Not fruit at all but we were surprised when we found out what it was. Â Clue: found on an oak tree.
