The Squirter

Photographs, Video and Stuff
The frogs here in Holland are all fired up with the need to make love…(lucky frogs!).
A chicken hiding out on (in?) one of the lock gates nearby.
I’m not sure about this one. It looks as though this image has gone all HDR but, in fact, is has received a strong dose (overdose?) of RAW processing.
A bit of fish-eye!
For those of you with expensive tastes…
An image representing the British Conservative Party. The Party is about to sink without trace and probably no bad thing! What a disgraceful shambles they are!!!
Saturday in market day in Monnickendam – delicious food everywhere!
Life is a journey!
We’re all heading this way!!!
Amsterdam public transport – second to none! I just love riding on the trams.
Not just any printing press. This press was used by the Dutch Resistance during World War 2 to print leaflets. More than 20,000 Dutch people were arrested because of their work with the Dutch Resistance. 2,000 Resistance workers were executed. Many Resistance workers were sent to concentration camps. So many brave people.
I whacked this image with a lot of retro effects in Photoshop. Such an attractive young lady! The new texture slider in Adobe Camera RAW certainly helps in the retro department.
This time something a little different when I am using the new Texture Slider in Adobe Camera RAW. I like using the new texture slider together with the dehaze slider when taking my images into monochrome. You can have a lot of fun with this new slider! Great if you want to give your images a little bit of zizz!
The sand dunes along Holland’s North Sea coast are protected areas. No walking on or disturbing the sand dunes in many parts of Holland. The Dutch know how to look after and preserve their most wonderful country. The Dutch have miles and miles of wonderfully clean beaches.
Not two things you see together often…

What happens when you get your camera settings wrong. It sometimes turns out okay….
Can you spot the camouflaged tourist?
