The Woman and the Dog

Photographs, Video and Stuff
Stand clear!
…or maybe she is Meryl Sheep?
Our dog, Katy, sleeps the day away in a most unladylike pose…
Always good to end the day on a dog!
It’s sometimes tough being a seal…
Katy sitting in the bushes and out of the wind this morning…
Don’t you just hate it when this happens…

When ya gotta go….

These chickens just get everywhere!

Is this horse smiling?
Katy taking a walk in the woods…
These tiny spotted beetles (top left of image) spent the whole day in the bush outside our room mating. Twosomes, threesomes, foursomes – beetles, it seems, have a really good and varied time in the mating season. Lucky them!
I came across this little chap whilst I was wandering around the mountains in Crete today. He or she wasn’t best pleased to see me and soon scampered off. We’ve been trying to work out whether anyone owns the goats or whether they are just wild…
Join me here in wonderful Crete as we listen to a large herd of sheep passing close to the chalet where we are staying at the Vritomartis Naturist Resort in Crete. The sound of sheep bells (the sheep have bells around their necks for some reason) really is one of the wonderful sounds you will hear on this most delightful Greek Island. I can also highly recommend the Vritomartis Naturist Resort. A wonderful hotel in all respects.
Join us as we listen to a group of crows squabbling over something…

Katy’s favourite balls, wonderfully coloured and they whistle as they fly through the air.
…and a bit of sanity returns to this blog (for the moment at least)
Now a nice home for insects and, unfortunately for the insects, a feeding station for woodpeckers…

Water from the stream always tastes better…
It’s my hole and I’ll dig if I want to!
Here’s the little scoundrel, as ever, looking pleased with herself. No shame!
It was going to be a photograph of some interesting shells that were stuck to the rocks on the beach. Then Katy, our dog, stepped into shot. She is no appreciator of my artistic endeavours!
