Amsterdam Central Station. If memory serves me correctly, I think that was the fast train Amsterdam-Paris. I always wanted to take that train but never got around to it. The French and Dutch trains knock spots of our British trains. It’s odd that should be the case given the steam train was a British invention!!!

It might well be (history is not my strong point)….We had a country-wide rail network In the 1960’s the government ripped up miles of railway track in the UK because they favoured road use – as it turns out, big mistake and now the government (useless bunch of twats) is now opening up some of those tracks which were taken away. Politicians in this country cannot see beyond the end of their sorry noses. Viva La Revolution!!!

I have never read a Harry Potter book or seen any of the films but I believe the train is real. Not sure where they keep it. I will research!
