Everyone everywhere is hoping for the lockdowns to end, to be able to venture out without a mask and hand santitiser. I’m so tired of this.

Same here. We’ve had our first Covid injection and waiting for second. I guess we all have to be patient for a little bit longer. We’re very lucky here. Small town, small population and plenty of fabulous walks. Also retired and no children to take care of (just the dog). I feel for city-living people who have children, mortgages, lack (or loss) of work, money problems. Infection numbers in the UK seem to be falling but they appear to be having trouble in France and Italy again. This virus isn’t giving in easily!

It’s a horrid thing but we humans can beat it! I wish we had your NHS here. Our system is so broken and sickeningly expensive.

Our NHS has been under tremendous pressure since the start of the pandemic. We owe so much to the NHS people who have worked tirelessly throughout. We’d be in a serious position if it were not for these highly dedicated and skilled people.
