Yes. It’s the folding bike (we have two) that we used to have on the boat in Holland. We’re not using the ‘company’ car on the harbour at the moment. Too many of us would share it and not so good with the virus still all around us (and closing in). It’s a Brompton folding bike – https://www.brompton.com – Built in the UK and quite expensive but, we asked around before buying folding bikes (a necessity on a small boat) and people kept telling us you can’t beat a Brompton and so we bought a couple. They are very good. Although I’m starting to think, with Scotland’s hills in mind, that a move to an electric bike would be a good idea.
No but they’re very well built. I think, in time, I’ll go for one of the larger electric bikes and save the planet! You see a lot of Bromptons in London and, before buying, I asked Brompton riders why they bought them. Same reply – ‘they’re the best.’ Although, I’m not sure how you would get along peddling in the heat of the desert…..
I looked at some electrics last summer, very costly for a good one. I have a Kona bike, don’t ride it much. Lots of people ride here year round but how they do it in summer I don’t know. Must be in top notch shape!
We do at least 5 Kms every morning with the dog (a long walk down the beach and back) but I don’t see any corresponding loss of weight or feel any increase in fitness. I sometimes, now the days are longer, take the dog out in the afternoon and do double duty. It makes no difference. Might have something to do with Chocolate Hobnobs!!!

It’s beautiful! Is that your bike?

Wow, those are nice bikes and all hand-made in London! The electric version looks like a front wheel drive. They are not cheap!

Taste makes Waist!
It certainly does. I’ll try to cut out the chocolate and eat ice cream instead!
Good choice Richard! 😂
Wonderful picture of the sunset on the lighthouse. Thanks so much for posting it.
