    They do when they’re sitting on the harbour bottom. We have tomato sure they’re leaning towards the quayside. They usually do this by putting their crane out over the quay so their centre of gravity is shifted. If they lean away from the quayside and their ropes part, then there is a danger they’ll fall over sideways. When this happens, fuel can spill out of the breather holes and pollute the harbour. Not inconsiderable fines for cleaning up the fuel I believe. The inner harbour isn’t very deep and these fishing boats have a deep draft. I’ll try to get more images this weekend at low water when all the boats will be sitting on their bottoms!
