The Skylark Walk…
We have several ways of getting down to the beach here in Banff, Scotland with the dog. One of the routes, we call in the Skylark Walk, takes us across the hills and past fields where the nightingales soar high above us. And, here’s the view we get as we walk across the hills.

How lovely. Our granddaughter will be in Scotland attending college next year, and I can’t wait to visit.

Well, if your granddaughter is passing by Banff, you should tell her to drop in for tea.

Thank you but I made a huge mistake. The bird is the skylark. Ooops!

Many thanks John. But I’m in trouble. The bird is a skylark, not a nightingale. The old grey matter is getting just a bit sloppy on the analysis and memory front!

The houses are very close to the water. Are there ever storms there that cause a surge in the tides?
Could wake up swimming. 🙂

No, as far as we know, nobody has been flooded. There are some cottages very close to the water (will take photograph) where the waves must batter the house but, here in Scotland, the build houses to last and survive the worst weather.
