Thanks John. We have quite a few Steam Preservation Societies over here who keep the old locos going. Without them, you would not have a fine stream train appearing in the Harry Potter films (not that I have watched them!). Years ago we had a chap called Beeching who axed many of our rail services. A short-sighted move I believe. Just too many cars and not enough roads in the UK now – especially in the South East. I’m old enough to remember steam trains. Much more romantic…
