    I agree Richard! They are much smaller and different looking than what we call Horse Flies in Michigan. Those and the Deer Flies can make you bleed, I know from experience. Nasty critters!

    Just regular snakes aye? No scorpions? I haven’t seen one in my house for months, the pest control company I use is doing a great job.

    Nope. We get northing as venomous as a rattlesnake over here. We have one venomous snake we call and adder or viper. Their bits won’t kill you (unless you have a weak heart). The bite is something like a bee sting (I’m told). I’ve never ever seen an adder in the wild (and I grew up in the country). I think they are both rare and timid. I’m not a huge fan of snakes (I used to live in the Far East many years ago). And no, no scorpions either. In fact, there’s nothing here that can kill and eat us. We’re well and truly on the top of the food chain at this end!
