Our new home, Banff, Aberdeenshire
The fishing boat…
The walk without a camera!
That’s a beautiful home Richard! 😎❤️
It is. And quite a long way from the large population centres. Very nice people up here in NE Scotland. It’s a 12-15 hour drive down to London and so a long way from the terrible politics which is degrading our country so.
I didn’t think it would be such a long ride to London, wow. I sooo want to visit!! I think politics are going to hell all over the world, we all seem to be on a slippery slope. So sad and angering. To what point must this get before the public seriously retaliates? 😍
You need to get yourself over here John but would wait for the summer. It’s a bit brisk here at the moment and certainly much colder than Nevada!
I bet it is! We have 61F today, 64 tomorrow. Much better than my home state seeing below zero F temps.
2C/35F here at the moment John. Might be a bit on the cool side for your desert dwellers….
It gets cold up here in the High Desert Richard. Pools can ice over once in a while but that doesn’t kast long. My house is at 2,850 feet above sea level…
Bring on the oxygen mask!!! I worked in Addis Ababa once. That was around 8,000+ feet up. The first few days were interesting. No wonder some of the best runners in the world come from Ethiopia. They can function on hardly any oxygen.
Wow, talk about being high on the job!
Yup. And wonderfully starry nights. Because of the altitude (like Hawaii I would imagine) a great place for astronomy.
