I read an article recently about limiting tourism in Venice due to the water, and perhaps more so because of deep frustration felt by the locals. that makes sense to me! I’ve no idea how many tourists actually leave the Strip to mingle with we Locals here.
Same here I believe. There are some wonderful towns and villages in Holland but I think Amsterdam is the tourist hotspot. People don’t realise what they’re missing.

This reminds me of the Vegas Strip – crazy busy.
There is talk of restricting the number of tourists in places like Amsterdam, Venice and Florence. Amsterdam gets really busy in the summer months.
