And so it does! And, I remember the very first episode of Monty Python going out on the BBC. I was very young and interested in aircraft and I saw this programme coming up about a Fly Circus and sat with my father (who also liked aircraft) waiting, with great anticipation for the programme to begin. We were both taken somewhat by surprise but I quickly locked into the humour. My father, on the other hand, was aghast, called it ‘bloody rubbish; and stuck his head in his newspaper.
