The Light Bulb Plant
I apologise deeply for sweeping away centuries of botanic and taxonomic research when I rename these flowers with my own (silly) name. But you do have to admit, they look a little bit like lightbulbs!

Oddly enough I was in the Amsterdam Library yesterday and passed the botany section. Perhaps I should spend some time there!
