    Yes. Not keen on snakes or cockroaches. I’m not sure get either in NZ? Watched a programme recently about your mountain parrot. Strange bird!

  3. No snakes, although we do have cockroaches – just not as big as the European ones. And the odd redback spider… We’re all strange birds over here.

    Spiders that bite? Eek! There’s nothing here in Holland that can do you any harm (well, the odd crazy person perhaps!). That said, the Dutch are very friendly and welcoming and they put up with us being here. Wandering Brits!
